Scoping Meeting Tonight at 5:00 p.m.

The
Go Green Alliance urges you to attend the Environmental
Impact Statement scoping meeting, which takes place
in the University
Room of the Radisson Hotel in Warwick from 5:00 –
8:00 p.m. This meeting will help decide
the issues to be studied for the future development
at T.F. Green Airport. Please arrive early in order
to find convenient parking.
Before
the meeting, take a moment to review the latest Op-Ed
in the Providence Journal, written
by George Nee, secretary-treasurer of the Rhode Island
AFL-CIO. It conveys the importance of this meeting
and its impact on the State's economic development.

An
EIS is a study conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) to ascertain the impact of the project, as defined
in the Airport Master Plan, on the environment including:
noise, land use, air and water quality, wetlands,
social impacts and induced socioeconomic impacts.
Go
Green Alliance supports the completion of the EIS
for improvements to T.F. Green Airport.
